Requests for Visitors
Regarding Facility Use
- Visitors are required to register at the reception desk upon arrival.Please note that failure to comply may result in restriction on the areas visitors can access.
- Please refrain from smoking inside and in the area around the center.
- For wheelchair rental, accessible restroom usage, and other related information, please see the Barrier-Free Information section.
Regarding Consumption of Food and Drink
- Please refrain from eating or drinking inside the center.
- Drinks may be consumed in the break corner on the first floor.
- Consumption of food and drink is permitted in the open garden located just outside the center.
Regarding Exhibited Historical Materials
- Please refrain from touching the displayed historical materials, except in the hands-on corner.
Regarding photography
- When taking photos inside the center, please refrain from taking photos that could identify individuals.Additionally, the use of monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, or lighting devices is not permitted.
- Please refrain from filming videos inside the center.

Barrier-Free Information
To make visits accessible to as many people as possible, we offer wheelchair rental and an accessible restroom.

Service Dogs for Persons with Disabilities (Guide Dogs, Service Dogs, Hearing Dogs)
Visitors accompanied by service dogs for persons with disabilities (guide dogs, service dogs, hearing dogs) will be admitted.
Diaper Changing Facilities
Diapers can be changed in the accessible restroom on the first floor.
Wheelchair Rental
We have one wheelchair available for rental.Please inquire at the reception desk if you wish to rent it.
Please note we cannot accept reservations; wheelchair rental is dependent on availability.
Ostomate-Friendly Facilities
The accessible restroom on the first floor is equipped with facilities for ostomates (individuals with stomas or colostomies).
AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
An AED is located at the reception on the first floor.
This medical device attempts to restore heart function by delivering an electric shock to the heart of a person who has suffered cardiac arrest.
Wheelchair-Accessible Elevator
Our elevators are compatible with full-flat type reclining wheelchairs.
Parking
For visitors with physical disabilities or mobility difficulties, one accessible parking space is available in front of the center entrance. Please contact the center in advance to reserve this space.
*There are no parking spaces available for general visitors to the center.
Braille Signs & Tactile Paving
Tactile paving is installed from the South Gate to the center lobby and in some areas inside the center (near stairs).
Braille signs are located on elevator buttons and inside the accessible restroom.
